Originally a much larger farm in the 1800’s,
Inglewood was owned by the ‘Studley’ family
who grew Phalaris for Chaff, supplying their dairy property
in the Melbourne suburb of Kew, called ‘Studley Park.’
The original Cedar and Iron ‘holiday’ cottage,
built by Bert Studley in 1893, still exists on the property.
Today, Inglewood is 25 acres and has a small vineyard with
Merlot, Pinot and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing around 1500
bottles of hand made wine per annum. Inglewood also runs
a small mob of Suffolk Sheep.
Inglewood offers sensational Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions,
Corporate Events and Private Functions. Our friendly Functions
Coordinator will assist you with your planning, to help
personalise your special day.
Well known in the district for its convenient location
and beautiful setting, with endless photographic opportunities,
Inglewood Estate truly is an unforgettable venue. |
